Must reside in the United States to be considered for an interview
Previous agricultural or production experience preferred
Must be able to complete all production paperwork or data entry into a computer-based tracking system
Must be able to perform simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) as part of recording information
Must comply with biosecurity protocols: showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility; no jewelry except medical ID; body piercings covered by clothing
Willing to work four 10-hour days per week, including weekends and holidays (6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., subject to change)

Responsibilities

Feeds, waters, and weighs birds according to schedules (10%)
Cleans and disinfects waterers, changes and cleans nest pads, dusts nests, cleans walls and ceilings, maintains egg room in a clean state, performs routine housekeeping, and adds/changes litter (10%)
Records information such as egg numbers, hen number on egg, bird weight, medications, feed intake, and mortality (10%)
Observes, grades, and records egg quality; distributes or disposes according to Cobb standards (10%)
Collects eggs from egg table, picks up eggs from floor, and records number of eggs laid by each hen (25%)
Performs simple math for recording information like bird weight, medications, feed intake, and mortality (25%)
Other duties as assigned: inspects poultry for diseases and removes weak/ill/dead poultry; records floor eggs and trains hens to use nests; monitors feed, water, illumination, and ventilation systems; sanitizes breakroom and vehicles; sets up house for new birds (checks water/feed lines and light setup); euthanizes weak/ill birds per company policy; assists with AI (10%)
