Requirements

  • Must reside in the United States
  • Must agree to submit to a Security Threat Assessment (TSA)
  • Must comply with biosecurity requirements: showering, changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility, no jewelry except medical ID, body piercings covered by clothing
  • Must sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.)
  • Must sign and abide by Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines
  • Physical ability to lift/move 50 lbs. and push/pull 1000-1500 lbs. (on wheels)
  • Ability to stand majority of shift on concrete floor, walk, sit, use hands to finger/handle/feel objects/tools/controls, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, bend over, talk or hear
  • Availability for schedule: Monday-Friday including holidays and some Sundays, 7:00 a.m. until job is complete (averages 40 hours/week, subject to change)
  • Willingness to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Preferred: previous agricultural or production experience

Responsibilities

  • Place hatching eggs in properly labeled buggies (40%)
  • Place trayed eggs into the pre-warm room and into the setters (10%)
  • Weigh eggs and record breakouts (20%)
  • Clean and sanitize the egg rooms (10%)
  • Assist egg truck driver during pickups and deliveries (10%)
  • Operate a high-pressure and regular water hose, maintain foot pans and hand sanitizer, pack export eggs into cases, assist shipping clerk as needed, and maintain a clean and organized work area (10%)
