Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Hands-on experience with electrical equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, etc.)
  • Able to share ideas clearly and work both on your own and with teammates from different areas

Responsibilities

  • Use requirements for our medical device and software to write test cases that check both whether the features work as intended and whether they can fail under certain conditions
  • Confirm that the software tools we use in development and testing (but that aren’t part of the medical device itself) work correctly and reliably
  • Record and share your test results in a clear way (for example, in reports or Jira tickets) so the team can easily understand the issue and take action
  • Look into problems, try to reproduce them, and test fixes to make sure the issue is really resolved before release
