Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in tube fabrication/bending
  • Experience in using a variety of Windows software on a computer, with ability to demonstrate this
  • Experience or demonstrated abilities in basic machining, laser cutting, and CNC turning
  • Core skills training in basic shop math, measuring tools, and blueprint reading or demonstrated equivalent knowledge
  • Ability to work 3rd shift (10:55 PM-7:00 AM, Sunday-Thursday)
  • Ability to frequently lift 5 to 40 pounds, occasionally over 60 lbs
  • Ability to adhere to safety rules in a machine shop/factory environment with hazards like noise, fumes, lasers, cuts, pinches, bruises, crushes, and burns

Responsibilities

  • Adjust and operate CNC machines in the tube fabrication cell, including lasers and tube benders
  • Run CNC tube bending equipment
  • Properly utilize and operate appropriate material handling equipment
  • Operate any auxiliary machines as assigned
  • Perform own set-ups and inspection of parts produced
  • Produce parts made to print and process specifications
  • Follow all safety rules, perform operator preventive maintenance, produce quality workmanship, and maintain good housekeeping in and around the work area
  • Complete all associated paperwork and record keeping as required
