Position Overview
The Resident - LICSW is an active member of the Corporation’s clinical team, responsible for contributing to a world-class clinical experience. This role impacts multiple stakeholders, including Participants, Clinical Specialists, and the Health Care Industry. The Resident delivers high-quality care to Participants, helping them achieve agreed-upon goals for improved quality of life and wellbeing.
Compensation
- Salary: $70,000 - $72,500
- Bonus Potential: Opportunity for additional bonus for sessions exceeding 30 per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Productivity Standards:
- 30 completed sessions of direct counseling care per week.
- Concurrent note-taking during sessions.
- Completion of treatment plans and other required documentation.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Participate in treatment team meetings with the customer, as applicable.
- Attend weekly Synchronous Health team meetings.
- Attend weekly Clinical Supervision Meetings.
- Advocate for the Participant in decisions regarding their clinical needs.
- Liaise closely with Customer Success, advocating for customer needs.
- Clinical Expertise and Development:
- Bring successful models and techniques from other experiences and bodies of evidence to best support participants.
- Support the development of materials for communication, outreach, and marketing of Synchronous Health’s services.
- Keep abreast of new developments in clinical care, including analog and digital techniques.
- Escalation and Problem Resolution:
- Serve as the first point of contact for escalation for participants displeased with any aspect of their experience.
- Report to the Operations team as the second point of escalation if participant concerns remain unresolved.
- Other Duties:
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Clinician seeking LICSW (with one year of outpatient clinical experience).
- Knowledgeable on state telehealth policies.
- Comfortable with technology and conducting sessions via telehealth.
- Ability to build a therapeutic relationship in a virtual platform.
- Polished, professional virtual presence.
- Strong ability to identify appropriate levels of care to meet patient needs.
- Experience treating a variety of conditions and disorders as part of a comprehensive treatment plan with an interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to use technologies for administrative and clinical support (e.g., scheduling, notes, chat, web-based or app-based interventions).
- Ability to work remotely from a secure, private location (outpatient office or home office acceptable; coffee shops are not acceptable).
- Access to a smartphone, a laptop, and an internet connection.
- Must pass a background check.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
