Requirements

  • Must live and be licensed within the state of NV (LCSW - Henderson, NV or LCSW - Reno, NV)
  • Active LCSW license in good standing
  • Approved by the NV Board to serve as a supervisor of an intern
  • At least 3 years of experience after obtaining all applicable licenses and certifications as a licensed clinical social worker (or equivalent qualifying profession)
  • Meets NV state regulatory requirements for supervision, including maintaining required license and certifications
  • Active credentialing with required Incident-to panels in NV
  • Ability to meet in person with each resident at their practice site at least once every month (hybrid/remote supervision allowed otherwise)
  • Strong team player with integrity, honesty, adaptability, and commitment to quality care
  • Ability to be appropriately assertive in coaching

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision to a minimum of six (6) resident clinicians (diagnostic assessments, therapy, counseling for diverse caseloads including adults, adolescents, children, couples, families)
  • Provide weekly group supervision
  • Provide individual supervision to each resident clinician for every 15 clinical hours (minimum 7 hours/week, varying by caseload)
  • Maintain a clinical caseload of 15-25 client sessions per week (no supervision-only roles)
  • Provide documentation oversight
  • Coach resident clinicians on professional and clinical development
  • Complete weekly documentation of supervision sessions
  • Complete coaching documentation for disciplinary or performance concerns
  • Collaborate with Regional Clinical Director on performance issues
  • Perform as outlined in the Clinical Supervisor Expectations document
