Requirements

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of related cardiovascular work experience
  • Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19 (accommodations available upon request)
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in life sciences or medical training (RN, RT, NP, etc.)
  • Cardiac Cath lab experience (wires, sheaths, catheters, etc.)
  • Cardiac echo and fluoroscopic imaging interpretation experience
  • Medical device industry experience
  • Experience in Structural Heart

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Territory Manager and Region Director to provide customer procedure coverage ensuring best clinical outcomes
  • Serve as the primary resource in the cath lab for procedure preparation, troubleshooting, proctoring, and education
  • Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products
  • Inform customers of the latest product, therapy, and technology developments in the industry
  • Actively engage in clinical, procedural, and technical discussions to convey the benefits of Abbott products and therapies
  • Train physicians and ancillary personnel on the use of Structural Heart products and the importance of therapies
  • Communicate product, clinical, and market data to appropriate Abbott personnel to support product development and marketing strategies
  • Actively participate at industry conferences and Abbott functions
  • Provide clinical and sales support through procedure coverage, education, and market development within the region (supporting percutaneous treatments for ASD, PDA, and VSD)
