Candidates are required to possess an advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or MS) in a life science or clinical field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical research with a strong emphasis on program management and oncology trials. Proven ability to manage trial timelines and operations in a cross-functional, fast-moving environment is essential, as is experience in startup or small biotech settings. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills are also needed.
The Clinical Program Operations Manager will own, drive, and enforce comprehensive trial timelines, deliverables, and Gantt charts; ensure alignment across functions and hold teams accountable for execution. They will identify risks early and fix them fast, collaborate closely with internal and external functions, ensure real-time visibility of program status, oversee study startup activities including site selection and feasibility, manage CRO relationships and performance, ensure operational readiness for investigator meetings and data reviews, serve as the primary operational liaison for trial communications, prepare structured updates and risk logs for leadership, travel to clinical sites, CROs, and investigator meetings, and contribute to clinical insight generation and action plans.
