Class 1 Local Driver - Day Shift at Sunrise Farms

The salary range is $50,000 - $50,000 a year, with the final offer depending on geographical region, experience, and skillset. This is a pay per load position with an average of 4-hour work days.

This is a local driving position involving travel to farm locations and processing plants, operating tractor units as far north as Edmonton, with no border crossing required. It is not a remote or office-based role.

Candidates need a minimum of 3 years issued Class 1 license with air brake (Q) endorsement, clean Commercial Driver’s Abstract, 3 years working experience, and Provincial/Federal Daily Driver’s Log experience. Safety focus, knowledge of National Safety Code, time-management, due diligence, accountability, and livestock transport experience are also essential.

The role involves day-to-day work with minimal direct supervision, transporting live chicken from farms to processing plants, emphasizing safety first and on-time delivery in the poultry industry.
