  • Minimum of 3 years issued Class 1 license with air brake (Q) endorsement
  • Clean Commercial Driver’s Abstract printed within 30 days
  • Resume with minimum of 3 years working experience with references
  • Provincial/Federal Daily Driver’s Log experience
  • Maintenance/Heavy Duty repair experience is an asset
  • Experience with transporting livestock is an asset
  • Positive attitude and work ethic
  • Experienced and qualified Class 1 driver who is safety-focused and knowledgeable in the National Safety Code regulations for Commercial Motor Vehicles
  • Time-management abilities, practice due diligence, and sense of accountability
  • Operating tractor units as needed as far north as Edmonton (no border crossing trips required)

Responsibilities

  • Transporting live chicken from farm locations to processing plants
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle such as condition of equipment
  • Safety must come first daily
  • On-time delivery
