Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the planning, design, and construction of water distribution and sewer collection systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field
- EIT Certification required
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience in preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water/sewer pipeline projects for public agencies (preferred)
- Experience with project permitting (preferred)
- Technical proficiency with OpenRoads Designer (preferred)
- Experience with water and/or sewer modeling (preferred)
- Experience in designing pumping, treatment, and/or storage facilities (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering design files, specifications, cost estimates, models, and reports for water/sewer projects
- Coordinate work of multiple engineering disciplines and subconsultants
- Assist with client relationship building and marketing efforts
- Represent AMT at professional association events
- Support engineering staff in the preparation of construction documents
