Candidates are required to have 5 to 7 years of experience in a Citrix environment, with 3–5 years specifically focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions. Proficiency in Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS) for desktop delivery is essential, alongside knowledge of Citrix Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Workspace, and Virtual Delivery Agents (VDA). Experience troubleshooting ICA Protocol, optimizing HDX Technology, and managing user access and session performance is also necessary.
The Citrix Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Citrix VDI solutions to support enterprise operations, managing and optimizing Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS) for efficient desktop delivery, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to virtual desktops, application publishing, user access, and ICA Protocol performance, optimizing Citrix HDX Technology for improved multimedia performance, administering Citrix Delivery Controllers for session management and load balancing, configuring and maintaining Virtual Delivery Agents (VDA), overseeing Citrix StoreFront and Workspace portals, monitoring infrastructure performance using Citrix Director and applying analytics-driven optimizations, implementing security measures within Citrix DaaS, and collaborating with IT teams to integrate Citrix solutions with broader network and cloud systems, providing technical support, documentation, and best practices for Citrix VDI management.
