Requirements

  • Enrolled in a local Associate’s Degree program in a Science field (preferably Engineering, Biology, or Chemistry; other similar majors considered); all class standings/credit hours eligible
  • GPA in good academic standing
  • Committed to working at least one session (aligned with semester, ~16 weeks), while still enrolled in classes
  • Able to work 40 hours per week
  • Able to commute to work in the Greater Cincinnati area or willing to relocate at own expense
  • Minimum work duration of 12 weeks, no more than 24 weeks in a calendar year
  • Cincinnati State student only

Responsibilities

  • Onboard to P&G systems
  • Perform basic and critical experimental work of day-to-day applied research
  • Execute procedural-oriented tasks in a lab, plant, pilot plant (internal or external), clinical site, with consumers, and/or on a computer
  • Report to a supervisor for training and mentorship
  • Balance projects with management support needs
  • Document experiments in lab notebook and discuss observations
  • Set priorities and work independently
  • Learn on the job in a dynamic environment
