Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideally have experience working with adolescents or in a healthcare setting. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required, as is the ability to attend a two-week new hire orientation, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Technician will provide continuous patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living, interacting with patients, and offering crisis intervention support. They will also be responsible for transporting patients to appointments and off-site activities, facilitating on-the-job training for team members, supporting therapeutic interventions like CBT, DBT, and ERP, monitoring patient behavior and activities, completing documentation, ensuring patient safety and accurate location, responding to emergencies, and performing admission and discharge processes.
