Requirements

Candidates must be full-time college students at the Sophomore, Junior, or Senior level by the end of Spring 2026, enrolled in an accredited university seeking a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical or Mechanical engineering or an equivalent program, and possess a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Eligibility to work legally in the US without sponsorship is required, along with knowledge of basic chemical plant manufacturing and analysis principles, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong planning and organizational abilities, and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. The ability to research and analyze complex information, draw valid conclusions, and build cross-organizational relationships is also necessary.

Responsibilities

Interns will assist in developing Asset Life Plans, troubleshooting equipment failures, and identifying corrective actions and process improvement opportunities. They will participate in project scope and cost estimate development, work with engineers on installation, testing, and commissioning of new devices, and provide technical support for equipment troubleshooting. Interns will also attend technical training, lead small projects from conception to completion, report project status updates in team meetings, and ensure compliance with corporate procedures and guidelines. Full-time presence in the workplace is required, with potential for overtime, and interns will collaborate with diverse team members and assist in achieving company goals.
