Requirements

Candidates must be full-time junior-level college students enrolled in an accredited university seeking a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering or an equivalent program, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Eligibility to work legally in the US without sponsorship is required, along with knowledge of chemical plant manufacturing and analysis principles. Excellent written and verbal communication, strong planning and organizational skills, the ability to research and analyze complex information, build cross-organizational relationships, and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are also necessary.

Responsibilities

Interns will assist in developing Asset Life Plans, troubleshooting equipment failures, and identifying corrective actions and process improvement opportunities. They will participate in project scope and cost estimate development, work with engineers on installation and commissioning, and provide technical support for equipment troubleshooting. Interns will also attend technical training, lead small projects from conception to completion, report project status updates in meetings, and ensure compliance with corporate procedures and guidelines. Full-time presence, potential overtime, and collaborative work with team members are expected, along with completing assigned duties and annual training.
