HazMat Retail Driver - CDL (A)

Candidates must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), have a clean driving record, and be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Applicants must also be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen, and be capable of lifting, pushing, or moving product weighing up to 100 pounds repeatedly. Preferred qualifications include one year of customer delivery experience, six months of hand cart/hand truck experience, and six months of food and beverage experience, along with a consistent two-year work history.
The CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver will safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer to deliver various products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies, to assigned customer locations following a route schedule. This role involves building relationships with customers, understanding their operations, and meeting their needs and expectations, as well as manually unloading products. The driver will also participate in audits, deliver training, and advise management on HR-related risk mitigation strategies, and adhere to all safety programs and regulations.
