Requirements
- 21+ years of age
- Submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
- Ability to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly (touch freight)
- Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
- 1 year customer delivery experience with touch freight required
- 1 year CDL A Driving/Delivery Experience required
- 6 months hand cart/hand truck experience required
- 6 months Food and Beverage experience required
- 2 years consistent work history preferred
- No Automatic Restriction
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer
- Manually unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to customer locations on an assigned route schedule
- Build relationships with each customer using a positive, friendly attitude
- Become familiar with customer operations to meet needs and expectations
