Requirements

Class A Commercial Driver’s license with hazardous material and tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain within 90 days from hire date)
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and compressor systems
Knowledge of pumps, motors, motor controls, instrumentation, metal fabrication, and other maintenance functions
Skilled in using hand and shop tools and instruments
Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize, stay focused, and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities

Responsibilities

Operates trucks including roll-offs, tankers, gravel trains, tractor-trailers, box trucks, etc
Performs LTL (less than truckload) pickups
Maintains driver documents such as logbook, quarterly permit book, trip reports, waste manifests, etc
Ensures accurate placarding, load securement, HAZMAT load segregation, and labeling
Understands and complies with state weight limit laws
Maintains company equipment
Utilizes company technology such as mobile applications and software as assigned
Performs DOT/MOT pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Interacts and communicates effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction
Processes hazardous and non-hazardous materials as needed
Assists in maintaining good housekeeping at the facility and on the grounds
Functions as a technician on lab pack and field service projects
Participates in the Site Safety program and required training
Performs other related duties as assigned
