  • Language skills: Read instructions for assembling equipment, read books and look up unfamiliar words; print simple sentences with subject, verb, object, numbers, and names; speak simple sentences using normal word order and present/past tenses
  • Mathematical skills: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure; perform operations with common and decimal fractions
  • Reasoning ability: Employ rational judgment to follow detailed but straightforward written or verbal instructions; resolve issues with a few concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Physical ability: Lift 55 pounds alone, 70 pounds with help, use mechanical lifting equipment for over 85 pounds; perform tasks like walking, bending, climbing, working at heights; pass vision screening; able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance

Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage LifeASSURE™ cartridge manufacturing machinery
  • Setup pleaters and cartridge equipment for LifeASSURE™ cartridge operations
  • Teach operators on accurate techniques for operating equipment
  • Keep records and location of cartridges produced
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Observe all company and OSHA safety rules and practices
  • Check own work and work of other employees in the department and resolve discrepancies with the team
  • Assist other department members to ensure safety and improve output
  • Perform various production operations safely and fill in on positions throughout manufacturing as required
  • Aid in the development of fellow team members
  • Access information via computer when needed
  • Set up and run cartridge production equipment under supervision
