Requirements

Reside within a 50-mile radius of the Carthage, MS facility
4 years of mechanic experience (must be shown on application)
Valid Mississippi driver’s license with no more than two moving violations in the last two years (no DUI convictions)
Ability to obtain and maintain a company license
Basic computer skills
Advanced wiring skills for lights and harnesses on vehicles
Advanced welding skills
Ability to take road service calls as needed
Ability to service vehicles (PM1, PM2)
Ability to perform PM6 – DOT inspections
Ability to perform minor loader repairs
Ability to perform minor motor, transmission, and rear end repairs
Ability to perform major trailer repairs
Ability to work in cold, hot, and/or wet conditions
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
Follow all Tyson policies and procedures, including Animal Welfare and Bio-Security guidelines
Flexible schedule (Monday-Friday 6am-3pm, subject to change; holiday and weekend work required)

Responsibilities

Perform other duties as assigned by Live Haul Manager
