Candidates are required to possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in biotech or pharmaceutical sales, with preference given to experience in cardiology, rare diseases, or specialty products. Launch experience is highly desired, and familiarity with specialty product launches is preferred.
As a Cardiovascular Account Specialist, you will be responsible for introducing Cytokinetics products within your territory, developing territory-specific account plans, identifying and developing relationships with strategic IDNs and hospitals, and serving as a subject matter expert for customers. You will also be expected to deliver sales results, coordinate with a local integrated field team, communicate approved resources to healthcare professionals, and focus on creating demand for the product launch.
Develops drugs for muscle function disorders
Cytokinetics focuses on developing medicines that improve muscle function for patients with cardiovascular and neuromuscular diseases. Their products are small molecule drugs designed to either enhance or inhibit muscle function, tailored to specific therapeutic needs.
