Candidates are required to possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in biotech or pharmaceutical sales, with a preference for territory ownership and experience in cardiology, rare diseases, or specialty products. Launch experience within the specialty product space is also preferred.
As a Cardiovascular Account Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales results, working autonomously, and serving as the single point of accountability for the successful launch of Cytokinetics’ first commercial product within your territory. This includes developing territory-specific account plans, identifying and developing strategic relationships with IDNs and hospitals, providing clinical expertise to healthcare professionals, and coordinating efforts with a local integrated field team to meet customer needs and establish the product as a valuable resource for HCM patients.
Develops drugs for muscle function disorders
Cytokinetics focuses on developing medicines that improve muscle function for patients with cardiovascular and neuromuscular diseases. Their products are small molecule drugs designed to either enhance or inhibit muscle function, tailored to specific therapeutic needs. The company has a pipeline of drugs, including omecamtiv mecarbil and reldesemtiv, which are in various stages of clinical trials.
