Position Overview

Dane Street is seeking Board Certified Cardiac Electrophysiologists to join our expanding physician panel. This telework opportunity offers supplemental income with a caseload customized to your schedule. As an independent contract reviewer, you will provide expert opinions on medical necessity for disability claims.

Requirements

• Board Certification: Mandatory in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• Active Medical License: Required.
• Dual Board Certification: In Cardiovascular Disease or Cardiology is a plus.
• Active Practice: Required.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess medical records related to Cardiac Electrophysiology to address client queries using appropriate criteria and guidelines.
• Ensure clarity and conciseness of determinations through well-supported documentation.
• Utilize current medical guidelines, evidence-based resources, and peer-reviewed literature for decision-making.
• Provide timely reports with relevant criteria used in the review.
• Adhere to specified deadlines for case completion and submission.
• Conduct follow-up communication as required.
• Maintain necessary licensure and certifications.
• Participate in mandatory training and orientation programs.
• Handle quality assurance matters and participate in audits or other reviews as necessary.
