Candidates should have significant direct experience in strategies for carbon removal, carbon credits, and voluntary carbon markets. Extensive experience in tech-based carbon removal is preferred, along with knowledge of voluntary carbon credits, offtake strategies, carbon finance, and climate solution technologies. Strong problem-solving skills and structured thinking are essential, as well as the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences. A proven track record of working independently and collaboratively with teams is required, and candidates must be located in or able to work from San Francisco, California, or London, UK offices a few days a week.
The Carbon Markets Lead will advise companies and internal stakeholders on climate action strategies using the Patch platform. They will identify and develop business cases for new technical and commercial solutions based on carbon market trends. The role involves collaboration across Go-to-Market, Supply, and Partnerships teams to achieve commercial objectives related to Carbon Markets. The lead will facilitate a positive customer experience and act as the main carbon point of contact for technical climate and carbon-specific inquiries, delivering valuable market insights.
