Requirements

  • Age 18 or older
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly up to 10 hours per day
  • Ability to have steel-toed safety shoes/boots for first day
  • Proficient use of 5090 shipping lane computers and TC70’s with the MM program as part of daily activities

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that merchandise—both conveyable freight on conveyors and non-conveyable freight—is scanned and loaded in a timely and safe manner
  • Manage the entire process of loading freight onto trailers, ensuring constant flow of product to reduce conveyor line stoppages and maintain minimal recirculation (solid lines), including clearing jams and following proper trailer release procedures
  • Adhere to all Shipping policies and procedures
  • Maintain the Shipping department’s housekeeping standards and support fellow associates while adhering to all Shipping Procedures
