Candidates must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner in British Columbia, preferably with cross-jurisdictional licensure. A minimum of 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience is required, along with a BC billing number for laboratory testing. Applicants should be members in good standing of their respective College, maintain confidentiality, and follow the code of conduct. Experience in telemedicine and familiarity with technology, EMRs, and remote work is essential. Additional experience in weight loss, menopause, mental health, erectile dysfunction, and birth control care is considered an asset.
The Nurse Practitioner will provide quality online care to patients, ensuring the best possible treatment for their lifestyle health concerns. They are expected to be available for a minimum of 4 scheduled hours per week and to log in every 24-48 hours to address patient needs. The role involves connecting with patients through a secure platform and collaborating with other healthcare professionals in a virtual environment.
