  • Basic math and measuring skills

  • Post-secondary culinary program highly preferred
  • Availability to work onsite with an open, flexible schedule often including evenings and weekends; overnights highly preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting

Responsibilities

  • Prepares a variety of pizzas, artisanal breads, focaccia, and rolls for Eataly’s restaurants and retail operations
  • Follows proper fermentation, proofing, baking, and pizza-making techniques for each product
  • Mixes, shapes, and bakes doughs according to Eataly’s quality standards
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary production area in compliance with Department of Health standards
  • Collaborates with the Artisan Overnight Baker and other team members to ensure a smooth handover between shifts
  • Assists Sales Associates when needed and engages with guests interested in learning about bread and pizza production
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned
