Job Description

TRUEWERK is expanding its reach by launching its performance workwear into retail stores for the first time. We are seeking passionate and experienced wholesale or retail apparel merchandisers to join us in this exciting venture. Ideal candidates will be located in or near Central Colorado, Southern Wisconsin, or Northern Illinois.

As a TRUEWERK Brand Field Representative, you will be the on-the-ground presence in retail stores, responsible for creating impactful store displays, building relationships with store associates, conducting product training, and ensuring TRUEWERK's brand presence is consistently strong. If you enjoy being mobile, discussing products, and making workwear look exceptional, this role is for you.

This is a field-based position requiring up to 75% travel per month to retail locations in Washington, Illinois, Wisconsin, Kansas, and Missouri, with potential for expansion. You will also be required to visit TRUEWERK's headquarters in Denver, Colorado twice annually for seasonal product launches.


Responsibilities

Plan and Execute Store Visits

  • Map out weekly store routes and schedule visits in advance, including coordinating associate training sessions.
  • Visit stores weekly (4-10 stores per region) to maintain a consistent field presence and ensure retail displays meet TRUEWERK's brand standards.
  • Gather on-the-ground intelligence, including competitor brand analysis, sales tracking, and customer feedback.
  • Identify stores needing additional support or more frequent visits based on visual displays and inventory.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the TRUEWERK Wholesale Leader to share insights, ask questions, and support retail relationships.

Represent the TRUEWERK Brand In-Store

  • Serve as the primary brand representative in retail locations, building strong relationships with key store associates, especially in the workwear section.
  • Proactively engage with retail shoppers to increase brand awareness and highlight product benefits.
  • Liaise with store managers to assess sell-through, address product inquiries, and optimize inventory or increase model stock.
  • Conduct engaging "Tech Sessions" to educate store associates on TRUEWERK products, features, benefits, use cases, and brand stories.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, inspiring associates to represent TRUEWERK confidently and enthusiastically, and foster a "Werk Crew Community" of in-store advocates.

Maintain Visual Merchandising & Inventory Standards

  • Evaluate apparel displays and surrounding areas, ensuring cleanliness, proper branded hangers, and up-to-date signage and graphics.
  • Organize product displays effectively.

Requirements

  • Experience in wholesale or retail apparel merchandising.
  • Located in or near Central Colorado, Southern Wisconsin, or Northern Illinois.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the month.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for workwear and brand representation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
