Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with academic and/or experiential background in Wireless System Communications and/or Embedded Systems. They must have a strong background in Bluetooth and BLE firmware development, architecture, operation, and specifications, along with 5+ years of experience developing MCU firmware and/or software for embedded products / MCU’s. Familiarity with embedded software development and debug environments, and modern software development tools is also required. Prior experience developing BLE Link Layer or BLE Host layer firmware for BLE MCU products, and experience in HW/SW/Firmware based prototyping is beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Bluetooth Firmware Engineer / Architect will be responsible for developing and integrating the BLE firmware architecture at all layers, contributing to the development and integration of various firmware layers, providing technical insight and guidance on BLE topics, ensuring the maintainability of the BLE firmware, and ensuring customer satisfaction by providing outstanding support and guidance. They will also contribute to the quality of BLE firmware via code reviews and input on test plans, and be equally comfortable working with well-defined and ambiguous requirements.
