Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Electrical Foreman in commercial projects
- Proven experience as a BIM/VDC Specialist, preferably in the electrical contracting industry
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and update detailed BIM models for electrical projects
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure accurate and efficient project execution
- Perform clash detection and resolve any design conflicts before construction begins
- Coordinate with other trades to ensure that all aspects of the project are integrated into the BIM model
- Generate and manage project documentation, including shop drawings, schedules, and material take-offs
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams regarding BIM/VDC processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BIM/VDC technology
- Collaborate with general contractors to address design issues and develop solutions
