Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Electrical Foreman in commercial projects
  • Proven experience as a BIM/VDC Specialist, preferably in the electrical contracting industry
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and update detailed BIM models for electrical projects
  • Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure accurate and efficient project execution
  • Perform clash detection and resolve any design conflicts before construction begins
  • Coordinate with other trades to ensure that all aspects of the project are integrated into the BIM model
  • Generate and manage project documentation, including shop drawings, schedules, and material take-offs
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams regarding BIM/VDC processes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BIM/VDC technology
  • Collaborate with general contractors to address design issues and develop solutions
