Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideally have experience working with children, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder. It is preferred that candidates have a strong interest in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and a desire to learn and grow professionally.
The Behavior Technician will implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), providing one-on-one support to children with autism to acquire new skills and reduce challenging behaviors. They will collect data on client progress, provide feedback to the BCBA, and create engaging learning environments that are fun and motivating for the children. Additionally, the Behavior Technician will participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities, and may assist with administrative tasks when needed.
