Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and be eligible to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Prior experience working with children, particularly those with Autism, is preferred, as well as a genuine passion for improving the lives of children with Autism and their families.
The Behavior Technician will work one-on-one with children with Autism to implement behavior intervention plans developed and overseen by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). They will utilize science-based teaching procedures to help children acquire new skills, collect data, provide feedback, and create engaging and motivating learning environments. The role also includes participating in training programs and providing support to clients in various settings, including the clinic, home, and school.
