Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideally have previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder. A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is preferred, and candidates should be eager to complete Kind Behavioral Health’s comprehensive RBT training program. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, along with the ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.
The Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) will work one-on-one with children with Autism to implement behavior intervention plans developed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), utilizing teaching procedures based on science and creating motivating learning environments. They will collect data, provide feedback, and assist in the acquisition of new skills, while also contributing to a culture of collaboration and growth within the company. The role also includes providing administrative support when needed and participating in clinical research and presentation building.
