Candidates should possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, and hold a valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of practice. Prior experience working with individuals diagnosed with Anxiety & OCD Spectrum Disorders, Mood Disorders, Eating Disorders, and Trauma-Related Disorders is required, along with a strong understanding of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques.
The Behavior Specialist will conduct Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with patients within Rogers Behavioral Health programs, training and working with the Clinical Services Manager to design and implement CBT treatment plans. They will participate in weekly supervision sessions, document patient care data, and communicate ongoing clinical issues to the Clinical Services Manager. The role also includes attending CBT Academy training, participating in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, offering training support to other staff, and communicating with the Utilization Review department to facilitate payment for services, while adhering to applicable regulations and payer expectations.
