Responsibilities

  • Supervise the bakery team to deliver on the business plan, communicate goals, execute programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for members, associates, and company
  • Work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets member expectations
  • Maintain expertise by ensuring department standards, sharing knowledge, training team on products/recipes/specifications, and equipping them for success
  • Leverage digital tools to plan/drive sales, improve shopping experience, elevate associate engagement, and make real-time decisions on production/training/quality
  • Drive business results through operational excellence, neat/clean/safe work area, staffing planning, consistent quality/food safety/policies, accurate inventory/audits/compliance, and merchandise production/display per layout
  • Act as Talent Ambassador: identify training needs, develop skills, encourage career growth, source new talent internally/externally
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes/practices to meet business needs by collaborating, analyzing data, monitoring results, and addressing improvements
  • Promote compliance with policies, procedures, ethics/integrity by explaining, guiding, demonstrating, implementing action plans, and assisting with corrections
