Knowledge of bakery production charts for production, display, and preparation needs
Skills in packaging, decorating, rotating, and storing bakery products per food safety, freshness, and handling policies
Capability to receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
Understanding of club policies, procedures, and compliance standards
Commitment to safety, cleaning, and organization standards in the bakery department
Ability to work as a team, maintain a friendly and positive attitude, and deliver GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate)
At least 18 years old for 401(k) eligibility (implied general requirement)
Responsibilities
Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information and using bakery production charts
Unpack bakery goods from the freezer and display proper amounts based on production chart recommendations, including safe handling and storage
Package freshly baked goods such as cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items
Decorate special order or case products
Rotate and store bakery products following food safety, freshness, and product handling policies and procedures
Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
Answer member questions, recommend bakery items, answer calls, and take special orders
Gather products to be prepared for the next business day
Maintain all cleaning and safety standards within the bakery department
Support club policies, ensure a safe and positive environment, embrace inclusion and diversity, and deliver service excellence to members
Work as a team to achieve GOLD club standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining signage, and keeping areas clean and organized
