Requirements

Seasoned backend engineer with proven track record of designing, building, and operating distributed systems
T-shaped skill set with deep expertise in Java backend development and desire to learn related areas like data engineering
Expert in modern Java development, with practical experience in building and optimising high-traffic, highly available backend services
Proven experience in systems architecture, data analysis, and building resilient distributed services
Knowledge of Scala and/or C++ is a plus
Ability to operate across the entire stack and learn new skills to unblock self and team
Passion for learning new technologies, including AI, and applying them to solve business problems
Exceptional communicator, capable of translating complex technical concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
