Requirements

Candidates should have 3-5 years of engineering experience with a proven history of building products at scale and working across the stack. Extensive experience with web technologies, including one or more common web frameworks, is required. A strong understanding of accessibility and security compliance, experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests, proficiency in code versioning tools like Git, and experience with observability and monitoring best practices are also necessary. Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading medium-sized projects, including problem architecture and task breakdown, is essential. Responsibilities

The Backend Engineer will design, develop, and implement maintainable and scalable product features using Python, Django, and MySQL. They will also work on the frontend using React, own and plan projects with stakeholders, operation leads, product managers, and designers, and guide execution and delivery. Additionally, they will own team quality practices and drive improvements.
