Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical discipline
  • Experience in a financial institution strongly preferred
  • 3+ years professional experience developing data processing or financial systems
  • Experience with C++ on Linux, C# a plus
  • Experience with SQL and database schema design
  • Strong communication skills in verbal and written English
  • Domain knowledge in trading of futures, options, equities, treasuries and crypto is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with software engineers, operations, and traders to design and maintain systems that process both real-time and batch trading data
  • Collaborate directly with Director of Operations to build databases, tools, and GUIs that enhance position accuracy, risk visibility, and middle-office coverage
  • Design and manage dataflows and integrations — including APIs or other pipelines for prices, settlements, reference data, and instrument metadata
  • Maintain and improve the flow of live trade and position data across systems to support accurate intraday risk and P&L
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve overnight and intraday jobs to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of critical information
  • Build and maintain archiving and versioning systems for positions, P&L, and trade history to ensure auditability and enable business intelligence analytics
