Back-End Software Engineer (PHP)

Symplicity is seeking a Back-End Software Engineer - PHP to enhance its software solutions. This role involves collaboration with a U.S.-based team, necessitating advanced conversational English. The company offers an English development program, led by a dedicated instructor, to support growth and skill development, including Python training and integration tool experience.

Requirements

• Solid experience with PHP development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
• Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and supporting complex systems.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux command-line tools.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
• Advanced English skills for effective communication with international teams.
• (Nice to Have) Experience with Python for workflow automation or task development.
• (Nice to Have) Familiarity with integration tools and systems (training will be provided if needed).
• (Nice to Have) Knowledge of AWS (Amazon Web Services) for cloud-based development and infrastructure.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software features using PHP technologies.
• Learn and apply Python to support integrations and automation workflows.
• Gain hands-on experience with integration tools for streamlining systems and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, ensuring system stability and reliability.
• Collaborate on testing, debugging, and fixing bugs across development environments.
• Support and improve system integrations across multiple platforms and services.
• Follow software engineering best practices and Agile methodologies.
• Collaborate with UX designers, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Research and evaluate technical options to meet project requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Work with databases to manage and manipulate data effectively.
