Ability to shape messaging across all external investor and financial communications, including quarterly earnings news releases, conference call scripts, investor presentations, and discussions with the investment community
Experience co-leading the quarterly earnings process, including development of key earnings materials and driving conversations with key internal stakeholders
Capability to maintain an overall IR strategy prioritizing clear and effective communications with institutional investors and sell-side analysts
Proficiency in leading the creation of investor communications plans and goals, including tactical and strategic elements
Comfort managing ongoing investor and analyst activities, such as earnings announcements, investor and industry conferences, investor bus tours, non-deal roadshows, and other events
Experience in frequent contact with senior leaders, including CEO, CFO, IRO, and other executives
Ability to interact directly with shareholders and sell-side analysts, discussing business attributes, collecting feedback, and addressing informational needs
Skills in monitoring and performing sell-side valuation models and analyses, providing guidance on setting expectations for future performance
Competence in monitoring the competitive landscape to provide competitive intelligence and insights to the executive team
Experience ensuring junior staff is trained, supportive, and attentive to detail
Ability to articulate the company’s strategy, financial results, growth opportunities, and business initiatives to shareholders and analysts
Expertise in leading market research, competitive analysis, and delivering market intelligence to key partners
Capability to take a leading role in developing investor communications materials for events like quarterly earnings, non-deal roadshows, conferences, and investor days

Responsibilities

Support Voya’s Finance and IR function, reporting to the Head of Investor Relations
Work closely with the executive leadership team to communicate the company’s strategy, growth opportunities, and business initiatives clearly and consistently to investors and analysts
Shape messaging across all external investor and financial communications
Co-lead the quarterly earnings process, including developing key earnings materials and driving stakeholder conversations
Maintain an overall IR strategy focused on clear communications with institutional investors and sell-side analysts
Lead creation of investor communications plans and goals, including tactical and strategic elements
Manage ongoing investor and analyst activities, including earnings announcements, conferences, bus tours, non-deal roadshows, and events
Interact directly with shareholders and sell-side analysts to discuss business attributes, collect feedback, and meet informational needs
Monitor and perform sell-side valuation models and analyses, guiding expectations for future performance
Monitor the competitive landscape and provide intelligence to the executive team
