Requirements

Proven data management and data governance practitioner with deep understanding of ETL, data transformation and management practices. Possesses technical understanding of cloud architecture and solutions including GCP and Azure. Requires exceptional leadership skills, poise, positive influence, and the ability to drive change in a matrixed environment. Must have a collaborative, energetic, results-oriented, and innovative management style, with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to influence strategic and commercial outcomes.

Responsibilities

Drives enterprise-wide data governance, guiding a team of over 100 professionals to implement transformative strategies that uphold data quality, integrity, and privacy. Develops and leads data governance strategy, including frameworks, policies, and standards. Establishes data stewardship programs, oversees data quality management, and ensures regulatory compliance. Collaborates with business units, IT, analytics, and executive leadership to align initiatives with organizational objectives, manages data-related risks, and promotes data literacy. Is responsible for managing metadata, overseeing data governance tools and technology, and reporting progress to senior leadership. This role is also responsible for the data security strategy, including data loss prevention and data protection technologies, and works closely with stakeholders to mature Humana’s data ecosystem.
