Requirements
Candidates should possess 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing for web applications, along with experience using automation testing tools such as Selenium and/or Playwright, and a good knowledge of scripting/coding languages like Java and/or JavaScript. Familiarity with testing frameworks like WebdriverIO, TestNG, Mocha, Chai, or similar, and basic proficiency in SQL for test data management and validation are also required. A basic understanding of frameworks and concepts such as Page Object Model (POM), Node.js, or Babel is preferred, and a post-secondary degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is a qualification.
Responsibilities
As an Automation QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated test suites to ensure the quality and accuracy of applications, working closely with functional and automation QA teams to develop robust and maintainable automation scripts for functional and regression testing and ensuring high-quality software releases. You will also develop, script, and execute automated tests, maintain and update automation test scripts, work with QA and development teams to review requirements and support the automation process, design and maintain automation frameworks, integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines, document test cases and results, and continuously learn and adapt to best practices related to automation testing.
