Requirements

  • Biomedical engineer or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of Technical Support, Field Service experience with Diagnostics market (early careers welcome with troubleshooting experience from Thesis or Internships)
  • Proficient English, both spoken and written, is mandatory
  • Ability to travel and provide service in whole country as well as periodic travel to other European countries and overnight travel
  • A current valid driver’s license is required

Responsibilities

  • Provide second level support by resolving customer problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting on Automation Platforms
  • Drive service targets while ensuring strong customer satisfaction and retention rate
  • Apply critical thinking to resolve appropriate action to rapidly repair instrumentation
  • Train customers and Service Engineers
  • Support Applications Team and verify the operational performance and data quality of systems to supply to overall commercial organization
  • Operate independently in Italian/Germany territory and in Europe when needed (with overnight required as needed) to provide excellent customer service while installing and maintaining Automation instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments
  • Share standard methodologies, mentor and receive experienced technical support as part of a team
