Candidates should have experience with DIY audio setups, ideally at 50+ cap shows, and possess their own audio gear that can be transported to and from shows. They must be able to move up to 75 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation, and demonstrate a passion for live sound and creative problem-solving, particularly in unique venues.
As an Audio Engineer, you will provide live sound reinforcement for Sofar shows, work with the crew team and artists to prep and execute each show, reference our concert portal to ensure the right gear is available, transport your own gear to and from venues, set up and load-in audio equipment, break down and load out audio equipment, maintain safe audio levels, consult on audio requirements, and troubleshoot effectively in high-pressure situations.
