Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of Paraplanning or Financial Adviser compliance experience.
- Financial Advisor Experience: Proven experience working with financial advisors.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency with all modules of XPLAN software.
- Industry Knowledge: Extensive and current knowledge of Australian Financial Services licensees and their advisors.
- Microsoft Office: Experience with all aspects of Microsoft Office.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer Literacy: Strong computer literacy and time management skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing conditions.
- Presentation Skills: Capable of presenting to both small and large groups.
- Education: Relevant tertiary qualifications are preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the Australian Financial Services industry.
- Personal Attributes: Ability to maintain confidentiality, exhibit motivation, and engage effectively with a range of individuals.
Responsibilities
- Data Management: Fact find data entry and collation of client data.
- Research & Documentation: Research and documentation of wealth solutions including Super, Investment, Insurance, Portfolios, and complex cashflow modelling scenarios.
- Document Creation: Developing and constructing high-quality, compliant financial advice documents and relevant collateral for Authorised Representatives.
- Insurance Analysis: Ability to complete insurance needs analysis and Preassessments with Insurers and preparation of insurance quotes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring all created documents are accurate, technically sound, and personalized according to legislative requirements and guidelines.
- Document Oversight: Overseeing advice document requests and collaborating with Authorised Representatives to maintain appropriateness and quality.
- Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with Authorised Representatives, representing the company with professionalism.
- Process Improvement: Supporting the development and enhancement of processes and procedures for Paraplanning functions.
- Industry Updates: Staying updated on industry rules, legislation, and obligations related to financial planning.
- Resource Sourcing: Sourcing and evaluating technical resources and information relevant to financial advice.
- Training & Development: Attending industry technical update sessions to remain current on best practices.
- Project Support: Participating in ad hoc projects that enhance team services and support company objectives.
