Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Mechatronics, Bionics, Biomedical, Electro-Mechanical, or Informatics Engineering, or a related diploma. Preferred qualifications include a CISCO CCNA certification and fluency in Portuguese. Additionally, candidates are required to have a valid passport and American VISA, and be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

This Technical Specialist will be responsible for analyzing customer needs and designing integrated informatics solutions to improve automation and IT solutions for clinical diagnostic healthcare customers, including interfacing LIS systems with Abbott diagnostic platforms. They will investigate customer inquiries, resolve complex technical questions, recommend suitable products or services, and apply established procedures or develop new solutions to address technical problems. Furthermore, they will provide expert knowledge of automation applications and support critical healthcare hardware, software infrastructure, and automation systems, along with communicating with customers via various channels to ensure customer satisfaction.
