Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
  • Experience or interest in mixed animal practice, including small animals, large animals, and exotics
  • Experience or interest in equine care, surgery, and general practice
  • Full-time availability for on-site work in Tecumseh, NE (with rotation to Adams Animal Care)

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate veterinary care for a diverse caseload of small animals, large animals, equine, and exotics
  • Rotate between Tecumseh Animal Clinic and Adams Animal Care clinics
  • Perform farm calls and on-site large animal services using facilities like heated back area and hydraulic chute
  • Conduct diagnostics and treatments using equipment such as digital X-ray, ultrasound, diagnostic lab machines, VetScan Imagyst, and gas anesthesia
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients in the local farming and ranching community, offering flexible and personalized care
  • Participate in surgery, general practice, and ongoing professional development through mentorship and CE
