Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of the industry, transaction processing, and/or financial services businesses
  • Ability to understand and consult on system design, utilization, and availability of value-added products
  • Keep current on system and module enhancements
  • Serve as authority on all module/client-related issues
  • Ability to solve client software problems, identify bugs using various tools, and provide solutions
  • Understand and adhere to department practices, procedures, and methodologies
  • Ability to perform detailed and complex analysis, issue resolution, developmental requests, and change controls while maintaining high system data integrity
  • Technical ownership to guide team members to finalize solutions or best-suited workarounds
  • Act as an escalation point for allocated clients and find required solutions for escalated situations
  • Ability to manage multiple team members, provide techno-functional support, evaluate performance, motivate resources, facilitate conflict resolution, and track skill sets/feedbacks
  • Monitor team progression, set goals, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate skill set growth

Responsibilities

  • Oversee application systems, architecture, design, data workflow, logical processes, and system interfaces
  • Assure synergy between software and hardware architecture to maximize that relationship
  • Determine and develop architectural approaches and solutions, conduct business reviews, document current systems, and develop recommendations
  • Ensure optimal application and system performance
  • Accountable for ownership of client’s needs and requests
  • Complete client maintenance as requested, ensuring verification of changes with quality and accuracy
  • Prepare for and attend established client issues calls
  • Participate in or facilitate internal and external meetings, assist in research, fact-finding, and prepare proper documentation
  • Prepare for and attend established development meetings; document and maintain communication with clients
  • Determine impact across component lines of development, issues, or client requests
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer between ongoing projects and client issues to ensure components meet client and company needs
  • Help determine alternatives to meet client needs or increase revenue opportunities
  • Represent department in various focus groups
  • Understand client’s strategic needs and develop high-level client relationships
  • Continue to develop and maintain positive working relationships within the organization
