Requirements

  • BA/BS in statistics/maths related background with 3-5 years statistic modeling / data scientist working experience
  • Familiar with Python (necessary)
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL (necessary)
  • Solid statistic knowledge and capability to design new methodology
  • Good understanding of frequently used Machine Learning Algorithms (e.g., decision tree, random forest, SVM, XGBOOST, network analysis, etc.)
  • Good analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and project management skills
  • Experience using Spark/Pyspark (preferred)
  • Experience working with large data sets and distributed computing tools (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, etc.) (plus)
  • Experience using Arcgis or QGIS (plus)
  • Experience in FMCG / Retail industry (plus)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the ETL/modeling process of Intelli-geo BAU and continuously improve process efficiency within area of responsibility
  • Manage ad hoc Intelli-geo & CP 1.0 project delivery and guide junior team members on platform set-up & result validation
  • Manage the technical and statistical parts of Intelli-geo BAU & ad hoc projects
  • Support commercial teams in the initial project design and answer technical questions that may arise in results presentation to clients
  • Lead related ad hoc modeling projects and support other analytics projects if necessary
